Wat Phra That Phanom Woramahawihan (Nakhon Phanom): A sacred object of the Isan region Enshrining the relics of the Lord Buddha
Wat Pa Phukon is located in the Na Yuang and Nam Som National Forest Reserves in Ban Na Kham, Ban Kong Subdistrict, Na Yuang District, Udon Thani Province, which is the border of 3 provinces: Udon Thani, Loei and Nong Khai.
Wat Pa Phukon is one of the most beautiful and famous temples in Thailand. It has the largest white marble reclining Buddha in Thailand enshrined in the chapel.
Wat Nong Waeng, a royal temple, is a temple of Khon Kaen Province. It is located on the banks of Bueng Kaen Nakhon in Khon Kaen Municipality. It was originally an old temple called "Wat Nuea", built together with Wat Klang and Wat Tai in 1789.
This temple is of historical and cultural significance. It has the Phra Mahathat Kaen Nakhon or 9-storey pagoda, which is a prominent architectural style of Isan mixed with Lopburi art.
