Incredible funicular of Penang Hill

One of the top things to do in George Town is to ride the local funicular that goes up Penang Hill. It was opened in 1923 and since then has been renovated twice: if in the last century the road to the top of the hill took 30 minutes, now modern carriages take you to the top in just 5 minutes!

I advise you to come here early in the morning, because already from 9 o'clock in the morning there are a lot of people and the cars leave crowded. Well, you can go down on foot and look at the funicular from the side 👍
