To go to Penang Hill, you can take a bus.
There is a route map and an electronic board that shows the departure time, so you can easily find Penang Hill.
Take bus number 204 from George Town Komtar Terminal and get off at the last stop.
Before going to Penang Hill, I first went to the largest Buddhist temple in Penang, Paradise Temple. After seeing the many turtles and the grandeur of the temple, take the funicular up to Penang Hill and you will be able to see the scenery of Penang Island and the inland at a glance. When I went, the weather was cloudy, which was a shame... It would be good to go up in the afternoon and see the night view.
It's a mountain, so it's cool and nice because you don't have to walk up. Of course, you can walk up, but in the heat... I don't recommend it.
