Penang Hill
An important landmark of Penang, or as Malaysians call it in Malay, Bukit Bendera, is a group of mountains located in the center of Penang Island. The highest peak is 823 meters high. With this height, the air on the top of the mountain is cool in the morning. The first electric tram to go up Penang Hill was built in 1923 (considered the first electric tram in Southeast Asia).

💵 Tram tickets: Normal RM 30 / VIP RM 80 (VIP will get on the tram first).
⏰ From the lower station to the upper station, starting at 6.30 am and the last round from the upper station to the lower station at 10.00 pm.
🚕 Bus No. 204, which ends at Penang Hill / Grab Car is also convenient and inexpensive.
