The best time to visit Talay Waek is between November and May, especially during the 5 days before and after the 15th day of the waxing moon, when the sea level drops to its lowest point, causing the sandbar to appear clearly. 

🚤 How to get there
• Long-tail boat: You can rent a long-tail boat from Ao Nang, which is the most convenient point to travel to Talay Waek. The journey takes about 25 minutes. 
• 4-island tour: There are tours that include a visit to Koh Kai, Koh Poda, Talay Waek, and Phra Nang Cave Beach. By long-tail boat or speedboat. 

💰 Park entrance fee
• Thai people: 40 baht for adults, 20 baht for children 
• Foreigners: 400 baht for adults, 200 baht for children 

Note: There is no fee to enter Koh Kai, but Koh Tap and Koh Poda have such fees. 

📸 Interesting activities
• Walking on the sandbar: You can walk across to the islands on the sandbar that appears during low tide. 
• Snorkeling: The area around Koh Kai is a snorkeling spot with a variety of biodiversity, such as clownfish, clear-side fish, and sea anemones. 
• Watching flying foxes: In the evening, tourists can watch tens of thousands of flying foxes fly out of the caves on Koh Kai.
