Baker's Falls is a well-known waterfall in Sri Lanka, located between the park's entrance and World's End Gap. Baker's falls is a spectacular and stunning waterfall located in the Nuwara Eliya area, 3 kilometers from the main gate of Horton Plains national park.
Though it is not a tall waterfall, but it is extremely beautiful and offers stunning views from various angles. The climb to the falls, named for late Sir Samuel Baker, a well-known British explorer and game hunter during the British colonial period, provides breathtaking views over Horton Plains.
It is also accessible from the towns of Pattipola and Ohiya. A recognized pathway leads from Pattipola to World's End and loops back to Baker's Falls.
There are many of local guides who can assist you and offer you with all of the information you require. A dense forest, tree ferns, and montane shrub surround the waterfall.
