Okayama, Japan｜Okayama Castle, nicknamed "Black Castle"

Okayama Castle is a castle located in Okayama City, Okayama Prefecture. Its characteristic is that the walls and roof tiles of the building are all black and heavy. The Japanese garden "Korakuen" next to the castle is also quiet and beautiful, and it complements Okayama Castle.

How to get there: Take a bus from JR Okayama Station for 10 minutes, get off at "Kencho-mae", and walk for 5 minutes. Take a tram from JR Okayama Station, get off at "Johashita", and walk for 10 minutes
