Hutou Mountain, located in Yanshi City, Henan Province, stands at an altitude of 567.56 meters. It's named for its resemblance to a giant tiger lying on the ground from a distance. Up close, the western portion resembles a tiger's head, with lifelike eye sockets, nose bridge, and forehead. The protruding portion in the central and eastern parts resembles a tiger's hind legs, while the eastern portion, which stretches northward, resembles a tiger's tail.
Standing at the foot of the mountain, looking up, you'll see Hutou Mountain lushly covered with trees. Two hiking trails wind their way up the ridge, dotted with pavilions and corridors. From a higher vantage point, rows of verdant trees stand tall on Juhua Mountain to the east and Shouyang Mountain to the west, creating a vibrant scene. Overlooking the entire area, lush greenery and pavilions dot the landscape, offering a panoramic view of the entire park.
With a warm temperate continental monsoon climate, the park is evergreen all year round, with flowers blooming in three seasons and lush green grass. The scenery changes with every step, making it a comprehensive open park integrating fitness, entertainment and leisure, suitable for travel in all seasons.
