Kojima Jeans 👖 is both an art installation and an economic industry

I didn't know about Kojima before I did my research, but now I know it's here! As a jeans lover, it's a must-visit!
Kojima, located in Okayama Prefecture, Japan, is known as the birthplace of Japanese jeans and a mecca for premium denim. The jeans vibe is palpable upon arrival at Kojima Station, where jeans installations are displayed throughout the station, including at the platform entrances, stairways, and even at the vending machines!
It's a 15-minute walk from JR Kojima Station to the actual Kojima Jeans District. The street is home to dozens of denim shops, cafes and shops selling jeans-related goods, denim-colored soft serve ice cream, and a denim button-making workshop. Japan truly understands the art of tourism and industry marketing!
