Omura Sakura

Omura Sakura can be found in Omura Park in Nagasaki. It is a type of cherry blossom that blooms from early to mid-April, and its flowers are even pinker than ordinary cherry blossoms. This is Omura Park, which is one of the top 100 cherry blossom viewing spots in Japan. There are more than 2,000 cherry blossoms in the park.

Omura Park is located in the moat outside the old Kushima Castle. Locals often sit under the cherry trees to enjoy the flowers, have picnics, and enjoy the romantic cherry blossom atmosphere.
