Omura Park

Omura Park is a popular destination known for its beautiful cherry blossoms and other flowers. Located on the grounds of Kujima Castle, the residence of the Lord of Omura, the park has been recognized as one of the 100 best cherry blossom spots in Japan. In spring, about 2,000 cherry trees, including the Omura Sakura and Somei Yoshino varieties, bloom, creating a stunning sight of pink petals. It’s so pretty, my friends!

During the Omura Flower Festival, the cherry blossoms in the park are illuminated, allowing visitors to enjoy the flowers at night. Additionally, from late May to mid-June, the park is filled with 300,000 Japanese irises, creating a sea of ​​purple and blue. The park is easily accessible by bus, with routes from Omura Bus Terminal and Nagasaki City.
