Cape Manza is a relay station between the north and south ends of Okinawa. The most famous of these is the unique geographical landscape of the "Elephant Trunk Rock 🐘". This place is also a holy place for many diving enthusiasts. Come and follow my steps to see the beautiful scenery here!

📕Geography class time:
Wanzamao is a cliff coral reef formed by the erosion of waves over the years. It also has towering cliffs as high as an elephant's trunk, as well as grassland that can accommodate tens of thousands of people sitting on the ground.

📚History and Legends:
Delving deeper into its history, we will find that many historical tragedies are hidden beneath this beautiful scenery. During World War II, Okinawa was one of the battlefields and the place where the most casualties were suffered. During the war, many Japanese forced soldiers who did not want to commit suicide and Ryukyu residents to jump off the cliff here to demonstrate the spirit of "loyalty to the emperor". This period of history has become a dark past for local residents and a historical fact that Japan wants to cover up. Because of the large number of casualties, many supernatural rumors have also appeared. The terrain here is also relatively dangerous, so it is recommended not to come here at night! !

The origin of the name "Manzamao":
"Mao" means wilderness, and "Wanzuo" refers to a place that can accommodate tens of thousands of people! The Ryukyu King "Shang Jing" once visited this place and praised it as "enough hair to accommodate ten thousand people sitting together", hence the name.

~Elephant Trunk Rock~
As the name suggests, it looks like an elephant's trunk. The best time to take photos is in the morning, but the terrain here is steep so you need to pay extra attention to safety! In addition, the well-known Korean drama "It's Okay, That's Love" was filmed here, so this place has also become well-known in Korea, and tourists are still coming in an endless stream today!

～Urimanza～
It is a hidden attraction, and it is very suitable for travelers who have already visited to experience the beauty from different angles. Unlike Manzamo, which is suitable for morning visits, the best time to visit Uramanza is in the evening. It is very suitable to sit in the pavilion here, enjoy the sea breeze and quietly appreciate the sunset. It is so pleasant~

～Diving🤿～
Some people may ask if winter is also suitable for diving! ? In fact, the temperature of the sea water 🌊 does not change at all regardless of the season, so it is suitable for diving even in winter! ! If you are lucky, you can even swim with sea turtles and explore the wonders of the seabed together!

The most famous store is "Original Sea Grapes", but I don't find it unique. Welcome all travelers to share with us~

"Mitsuya Honpo" is a famous shop of Shaonong. It has a crispy outside and soft inside and is not too sweet. It is very suitable to buy one and drink it with unsweetened tea to quietly enjoy the beautiful scenery here!
