I planned to shoot the sunrise in Ordos
When I walked out of the hotel, I found it was raining. I opened an umbrella and walked into the drizzle.
Yike Aobao, Shuangju Square, Bronze Museum, Buddhist Museum, Ordos Museum, Grand Theater, Mosque, Library.
Most of these are free, and the generosity of the grassland people can be felt from the buildings.
From the Spring and Autumn Period to the Song Dynasty, more than a dozen nomadic ethnic groups lived here. In the Ming Dynasty, the Ordos tribe moved here from the Mongolian Plateau. Later, the six banners of the tribe met at the King's Temple, and the Qing Dynasty set up the Yikezhao League. At the beginning of the Republic of China, Han people from Shanxi and Shaanxi began to migrate here, and gradually became what it is today.
