[Dotonbori, Osaka] Korean-style Chinese restaurant "Chinchal Dotonbori", familiar from Korean dramas

I went to the Korean-style Chinese restaurant "Chinchal Dotonbori Branch" in Dotonbori, Osaka.

The second Japanese store opened in Kansai in November 2022. The Shin-Okubo branch in Tokyo was also a hot topic when Heechul of SuperJunior visited the store.

You can enjoy Korean-style Chinese dishes such as jajangmyeon and sweet and sour pork that appear in Korean dramas.

・Jenban jajangmyeon + mini tangsuyuk set for 2 people 2,650 yen
The jajangmyeon is seasoned with black miso called chunjang, and contains green chili peppers, so you can taste the spiciness of the chili peppers in the sweetness.

The ingredients include plenty of fried onions and seafood such as shrimp and squid.

This is a two-person portion, so the volume is incredible. Two people will be full.

Tangsuyuk is what we call sweet and sour pork in Japan. The Korean version is made with thin, deep-fried pork loin that is crispy and topped with a sweet and sour sauce with a mild sourness.

The ingredients include pineapple and wood ear mushrooms, but it also contains a lot of pork.

It is served with spiced bean paste and onions. The onions are served with the chuban sauce.

・Drinks Crunchy Peach 350 yen
A classic Korean juice. It also contains peach pulp. A sweet drink that goes perfectly with the spicy Jenban Jajang noodles.

I'm happy to be able to eat Korean-style Chinese food in Osaka. The taste was the same as what I had in Korea. I recommend Korean-style Chinese food, which has a slightly different flavor from regular Chinese food.
