Strolling around the Dotonbori area

Dotonbori is a very lively district and a must-visit spot for anyone traveling to Osaka. It’s an area with shops and restaurants open all along the canal. You can take a boat ride along the canal to enjoy the sounds, colors, lights, and neon signs, including the famous Don Quijote souvenir store. It’s extremely crowded, leaving little room to walk.

Take photos and check in with the famous Glico running man sign, and try the renowned giant octopus takoyaki.
