A relaxing spot at Osaka Port - the huge Tempozan Ferris Wheel

During this trip to Osaka, we bought a two-day OSAKA AMAZING PASS, so we decided to go a little further and come to Kaigandori near the sea, where there are several attractions worth visiting.

Take the subway to Osaka Port Station and about five minutes away, you will see a very eye-catching huge Ferris wheel, which is the Tempozan Ferris Wheel. The entrance to the Ferris wheel is at the escalator next to the mall. Follow the crowd as you approach the boarding point and you will see two queues, one for the ordinary cabin and the other for the transparent cabin. Avocado Mom is afraid of heights, but my travel companion’s mother thought the transparent cabin was more unique, so they queued for the shorter queue. Although there is a certain flow of people, the waiting time is acceptable because there are many carriages (there are fewer transparent carriages and more people, so the waiting time will be longer). The original price of the Ferris wheel is about 800 yen, but since we bought a pass, we don’t need to buy a ticket.

The Ferris wheel turns slowly, which is okay at first, but when it reaches the highest point, it really feels like it’s happening! high! I started to get a little scared because I am afraid of heights. At that time, I really regretted choosing the transparent box. I basically closed my eyes during the highest section (but my mother enjoyed it very much, so I had to reluctantly help her pat it on the back and then continued to hold the handrail tightly). But the view from a high place is really beautiful. You can slowly enjoy the scenery of the coast and also overlook the buildings in Osaka city.

The whole process takes about 15 minutes, and you can enjoy the scenery while chatting with your companions. I heard that the sunset view here is very good, but due to schedule constraints, we came here in the afternoon. Friends who want to be more romantic can consider coming here at sunset.
