Universal Studios Japan

Universal Studios Japan is easily accessible from downtown Osaka and surrounding areas, taking just 11 minutes from Osaka Station, 16 minutes from Shin-Osaka Station, and 35 minutes from Kansai International Airport.

This time, I purchased an express pass. Remember, your pass must include access to Nintendo Land attractions, allowing entry to the designated area at the designated time. (I later discovered that Japan also offers VIP experience programs; I'll definitely try that next time.) Express passes have time limits, and the intervals between each stop are quite long, so be mindful of your schedule; missing out would be a real shame. You should also be aware of the surrounding attractions, such as the Rock and Roll show, Water World, and parades.

Our first stop was the magnificent Harry Potter Storyland. In the "Wizarding World," a world filled with magic shops and enchantment, you can cast spells and transform into a wizard. With eight different magical locations, successfully completing them requires not only the correct spells but also the accuracy of the casting. With a dedicated guide, your success is truly up to you. It's a shame I didn't get to play Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey or Flight of the Hippogriff because I was so engrossed in my spellcasting, but thankfully I got to experience them in California.

Next stop is the must-see Super Nintendo World, a thrilling experience for both adults and children. Mario Kart: Bowser's Challenge uses specially made 3D glasses to create a realistic racetrack, making it incredibly thrilling. Afterward, Yoshi's Adventure is more suitable for couples or families. Since you don't have VIP status, you can't re-enter Super Nintendo World once you exit. If you want exclusive Mario merchandise, remember to buy it first.

Then enter the wild world of the Mini Corps, ride the motorized vehicles invented by Sharp Brother, enter his laboratory, and transform into the Mini Corps! Under the command of Sharp Brother's three daughters, soar into the air and back down to earth—a thrilling and heartwarming journey.

The Fast Pass option includes a ride and Jaws. If you have children, I recommend going with Jaws. The Hollywood Dream ride isn't a ride through Hollywood action scenes like in California, but rather a roller coaster ride around the studio. So, be sure to check if it's suitable for children when purchasing a Fast Pass.

The sad part is that we couldn't ride the Doraemon XR ride - Nobita and the Dreamland in the Sky. Due to height restrictions, my child couldn't participate. I'll have to go on it on my own next time.
