Liping National Forest Park, located in Nanzheng County, Shaanxi Province, with an altitude of 1,000-3,000 meters, is dominated by forest landscape, landform landscape, water landscape, modern cultural landscape and rural landscape, integrating mountain landscape, forest landscape, water landscape and stone landscape.
The park is planned to be divided into four major scenic areas, and currently open to the public are Jianxia, Yunv Peak, Fenglin Waterfall, Tianshu Cliff, Undersea Stone City, Zhonghua Dragon Mountain, and Hongchen Gorge.
The renowned Zhonghua Longshan, formed during the Ordovician Period 400-500 million years ago, boasts reddish-brown rock, a surface resembling dragon scales, and a variety of animal forms. Seabed fossils are also found throughout. Its wonders astound visitors, and experts have hailed it as a great discovery of the 21st century, offering both scenic and scientific value.
