"Kuidaore Taro", who speaks in thick Osaka dialect, is a popular character representing Osaka. He joined Osaka's famous Kuidaore in 1950 and was loved until he retired in August 2008. Or so you might think. He returned to work and enlivened Dotonbori at the Kuidaore Building. If you come to Dotonbori, this is a recommended spot to take a commemorative photo with "Kuidaore Taro".
