Osaka

Review of traveling in Osaka, Japan:
The city of fun, delicious food, and smiles throughout the trip! 🍡🎉🇯🇵

Hello everyone! Today Boom will share the story of traveling in Osaka,
a city full of charm, brightness, and incredibly delicious food!
For those planning a trip to Japan, I highly recommend stopping by Osaka. I guarantee you won’t be disappointed.

Osaka is a city that has it all—modernity,
the lively spirit of the locals, delicious food you can eat all day, and a variety of unique tourist attractions. I will take you to experience the atmosphere of this city through Boom’s perspective. Ready? Let’s go!

Day 1: Arrive at Kansai Airport and explore the Namba area

After flying into Kansai International Airport,
which is amazingly located in the middle of the sea! Boom took the JR Kansai Airport Rapid Service train to Osaka city, which took only about 45 minutes. The train was very clean, air-conditioned, and the Japanese people were extremely polite.

Once arriving at Namba Station, the city’s lively vibe hit immediately!
This place is the hub of fun and the best delicious food.
Boom strolled around Dotonbori, an area with colorful neon signs and a bustling atmosphere all day and night.

A must-try is takoyaki—round balls of soft batter filled with fresh squid, topped with sweet sauce and mayonnaise. Boom ate so many that I had to stop because I was too full, haha.

Day 2: History and nature at Osaka Castle

This morning, Boom woke up early to visit Osaka Castle, a beautiful white castle with over 400 years of history.
The castle is surrounded by a large garden and many cherry blossom trees.
If you come during spring, you’ll see the cherry blossoms in full bloom, looking like a painting.

Boom went up to the top floor of the castle to enjoy the panoramic view of Osaka. It was truly beautiful, with tall buildings and nature in full view.

This place is perfect for those who love photography and learning history at the same time. The atmosphere is peaceful and very impressive.

Day 3: A fun day at Universal Studios Japan

If you love amusement parks, Boom highly recommends Universal Studios Japan (USJ). There are many fun rides and shows, especially the Harry Potter zone, which perfectly recreates the village of Hogsmeade and Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

Boom tried many rides, including Minions, Jurassic Park, and the bright and cute Super Nintendo World. I recommend buying an Express Pass to avoid long waits and enjoy the fun to the fullest without wasting time.

The atmosphere here is lively and very fun. Both kids and adults will definitely have a blast.

Day 4: Shopping in Shinsaibashi

Today Boom went all out shopping at Shinsaibashi Shopping Arcade, a very long shopping street with a variety of stores, including fashion, souvenirs, and cute restaurants.

Boom tried matcha green tea latte at a cozy, warmly decorated cafe, resting after a tiring shopping walk. The tea was rich and smooth.

Also, I bought many souvenirs, both food and stylish items. For those who love shopping, this place is definitely the perfect spot.

Day 5: Exciting Kuromon Market

Kuromon Market is another favorite spot of Boom because you can eat fresh seafood and delicious Japanese snacks.

I tasted fresh sushi, grilled giant crab, scallops, and fresh takoyaki from the market. Walking and tasting felt like visiting a warm, friendly local market.

The market atmosphere is lively and very friendly. The vendors speak kindly and even recommend must-try foods.

Osaka foods you must try!

Speaking of Osaka, you can’t miss the most famous foods:
• Takoyaki: round balls filled with squid, crispy outside and soft inside, topped with sauce and mayonnaise—super delicious.
• Okonomiyaki: Japanese pizza made from batter, cabbage, and meat or seafood, topped with special sauce.
• Kushikatsu: crispy deep-fried skewers, very addictive.
• Ramen: rich and flavorful.
• Mochi and Japanese sweets: perfectly sweet and very cute.

Boom ate almost everything and was fully satisfied!

Boom’s tips for traveling in Osaka

Osaka is a city that combines happiness and deliciousness perfectly. The lively city, tasty food, and diverse attractions made Boom feel like truly relaxing.

The locals here are very kind and friendly, making you feel warm and at home. I want everyone to try visiting Osaka. I guarantee you’ll love it so much you’ll want to come back again!
