#Osaka Attractions
Tsutenkaku is located in the heart of Shinsekai. It is a tourist attraction full of Osaka style and one of Osaka's representative landmarks.
The first Tsutenkaku was built in July 1912 as a landmark tower in the amusement park "Luna Park". With a height of about 75 meters, it was the tallest building in Asia at the time, and the name "Tsutenkaku" also means "a tall building leading to the sky."
In January 1943, the first Tsutenkaku Tower was destroyed by fire. In 1956, the second generation of Tsutenkaku was built through the active revitalization of local people, and it was designated as a tangible cultural property in 2007.
The Tsutenkaku Tower you see today is the second generation.
The second Tsutenkaku is a building with 1st underground floor and 5th floor above ground🗼
Including the lightning rod, it is 108 meters high. In recent years, facilities such as an outdoor observation deck and "TOWER SLIDER" 🛝 have also been set up.
PS: The entrance is on the 1st floor underground
As an observation deck, Tsutenkaku is different from ordinary observation shops. Even the interior architecture is worth seeing. The interior decoration of the observation deck is glittering✨✨✨
It is also called the "Golden Observatory"
Address: 1-18-6 Ebisu-Higashi, Naniwa-ku, Osaka
Tickets: ¥900 (excluding tower slider)
PS: The outdoor observatory "Tenbo Paradise" costs an additional ¥500
