Osaka's Hidden Gems: Fujita Art Museum & Nakanoshima

Fujita Art Museum is considered a private museum, and it's a bit inconvenient to get there—you have to walk about 10 minutes from the subway station.

The museum is small, and the entrance fee is a bit pricey at 1000 yen. If you're not very interested in the exhibits inside, you can simply take a quick walk around outside, which takes about 10 minutes. The museum building itself is quite distinctive, and many elderly people come to sketch outside.

The most attractive part is the restaurant outside the museum, where you can enjoy tea and snacks. The young lady will hand-brew matcha, paired with charcoal-grilled dango🍡—delicious!

After leaving the museum, transfer to Nakanoshima, a small island between Kitahama and the city center.

As Osaka's cultural and business hub, Nakanoshima boasts many historic buildings, museums, and parks. The Nakanoshima Library is famous for its green apple🍏—a very relaxing spot.

If you visit around Christmas, there will be a light show. Although it might not be very impressive, walking from Kitahama to Umeda for dinner is still quite fun.
