The Scent of Books and Riverside: A Tranquil Stroll on Nakanoshima Island

#OsakaAttractions
In the early morning, I arrived at the Osaka Prefectural Nakanoshima Library, a century-old European classical-style building standing proudly within the lush greenery of Nakanoshima Park. The library’s dome and towering stone pillars exude grandeur, yet inside there is a peaceful and serene atmosphere. I deliberately chose the historical documents section of the library, flipping through several books related to Osaka’s culture, as if stepping into a time tunnel and feeling the deep heritage of this city.
At noon, I took a break at the library’s attached café, savoring a rich cup of coffee and a soft cake, with the park’s green trees and river visible outside the window, refreshing the mind and spirit.
In the afternoon, I strolled along the riverside of Nakanoshima, enjoying the gentle breeze and tranquil scenery, then visited the Osaka City Central Public Hall.
At night, I returned to Nakanoshima Park to admire the riverside illuminated by lights, ending the day with a romantic touch.
