How to Enjoy Osaka USJ with Just an Annual Pass Ticket 10000% (You Can Visit Mario World 3 Times)

Universal Studios tickets are so expensive ㅠㅠ
But if you pick the right date, here’s a great tip to fully enjoy it with just the admission ticket!

📆1. Check the ticket grade for your entry date

First, go to the Universal Studios website and check the ticket grade!! Trip.com also shows the grades by date, so check there too!!

They are divided from A to E, with ticket prices set based on crowd levels. Usually, peak weekends are C or D grade, and certain days in the super peak season are E grade.

You might think there’s no A grade during peak season,
but there are quite a few A and B grade days even on weekends.
And April and June are mostly A and B grades!!
At least with a C grade ticket, you can enter all the way to Mario World. A and B grades are 100% guaranteed!!

📲2. Download the app in advance, sign up, and register your ticket
Use Korean or hotel Wi-Fi to download the USJ app and sign up (Korean available).

Register the ticket you purchased on Trip.com or elsewhere!

so zoom in on the QR code in the image and save it, then scan it,
or show the QR code on someone else’s phone to scan it, and it works well!

⏰3. Get a Mario World timed entry ticket after entering

From experience, if you enter at 9 AM, the timed entry will be between 11:30 AM and 1 PM.
If you want to enter multiple times, definitely enter early,
and if there are timed entry tickets left after entering Mario World,
you can get another one and enter about twice!

I entered at noon, made a reservation at the Toad Restaurant, and lined up for Bowser! The timing works out roughly when you come out of Bowser to the restaurant, but if the timing is tight, just make a reservation and enjoy the mini-games.

To enjoy the mini-games, you must buy a wristband, and with this, you can stay in Mario World all day 🤭

Characters also appear, so it’s great for taking photos!! Toad is super cute~ Usually, entering twice is to enjoy the night view,
and if you enter in the afternoon, the wait times for Bowser or Donkey Kong will be shorter, so you can line up and ride again!

⏰4. Check wait times with the app!
You might think you can ride everything in the morning by rushing,
but after riding one attraction, most wait times go over 50 minutes…

Decide what you want to ride the most before going and plan your route.
In between, watch Conan or ride Jaws and Dinosaur.
Surprisingly, the wait times for these are about 10 minutes.

The Harry Potter area is free to enter, so take lots of photos during the day,
and around 5 PM, you can ride with about a 10-minute wait.
Since it’s at the far end of USJ, many people leave early…!

However, some attractions close after 6 PM, so make sure to ride attractions by around 5:30 PM, and around 6 PM, have a drink and get ready to buy souvenirs…

On A and B grade days, the park usually closes at 7:30 PM, so check the time carefully!

Tickets are expensive, and if you buy an express pass too, it easily goes over 300,000 won, but even if you schedule rides, you don’t really remember much after riding… it feels kind of empty.

Planning and running around trying to see how many rides I could get on with just the admission ticket is now a fond memory!

Anyway!!!!!!!! Definitely try to enjoy USJ 10000% with just the admission ticket! I have a standard annual pass (worth it if you go 3 times or more), so I go to USJ every time I pack for a flight hahaha Mario World is so much fun hahaha
