[Osaka] Osaka's Symbol: Osaka Castle

Osaka Castle is a historic landmark that can be called a symbol of Osaka, and I was overwhelmed by its grandeur when I visited. The towering main keep standing on the vast grounds catches the eye even from a distance, and its presence becomes more impressive as you get closer. Inside the main keep, there are exhibits that evoke a sense of history, offering a place to learn about Toyotomi Hideyoshi and the history of Osaka Castle. The surrounding Osaka Castle Park is lush and green, perfect for walks and picnics, allowing for a relaxing time. Especially in spring, the cherry blossoms are beautiful, and the area is bustling with many people during the cherry blossom viewing season. In autumn, you can also enjoy the colorful foliage, with the natural beauty changing with the seasons. Additionally, the view from the top floor of the main keep is spectacular, offering a panoramic view of Osaka’s cityscape and distant mountains, making it a popular photo spot. Osaka Castle is truly a representative tourist destination of Osaka, where history and nature harmonize.
