#OsakaHotel Family, at the end of my trip to Osaka, I chose to stay at the Marriott Miyako Hotel, which is said to be the tallest building in Osaka now! As soon as you exit the ticket gate at Tennoji Station, there is a dedicated elevator that takes you straight to the hotel lobby, making transportation extremely convenient—really super easy.
However, there were some minor issues during check-in: the room type was not upgraded, and I had to wait until after 3 PM to check in. The hotel’s executive lounge does not offer breakfast, but they did give me four breakfast vouchers and four tickets to the observation deck upstairs, which was quite a pleasant surprise.
The hotel has been open for several years, and the decor leans towards a “vintage official” style, somewhat retro. Fortunately, when the weather is clear, the room’s view is absolutely stunning, offering a panoramic view of Osaka’s cityscape. The executive lounge has a wide variety of drinks, but the food is not very filling, mostly suitable to accompany the drinks.
The breakfast on the second day was a big surprise, tasting excellent, especially the various egg dishes, which were done very well. The only downside during my days in Osaka was that the oranges I ate were all sour, which was a bit disappointing.
Overall, the Osaka Marriott Miyako Hotel’s location and views are its selling points, and the breakfast is quite good. The downside is the somewhat outdated decor and the lounge food needs improvement. If you value enjoying the beautiful views of Osaka and don’t mind the decor style, this hotel is definitely worth staying at!
