The Most Luxurious Sushi Experience in Osaka!

My friend visited Osaka during their gap week, and we managed to snag a reservation at the highly sought-after Sushi Kazenogi (風禾), a top-rated sushi counter restaurant. It truly lived up to its reputation!

The chef is a master of creating emotional value! From the moment we sat down, it felt like entering a sushi theater. Every piece was a delightful surprise—it's been ages since I've had sushi this moving!

• Fatty tuna (otoro) + medium fatty tuna (chutoro) paired with flying fish roe and sweet soy sauce: an explosion of freshness that melts in your mouth.
• Sea urchin, shirako, flying fish roe, and kabosu citrus: a symphony of flavors with rich layers—tangy, fragrant, and tender, each bite bursting with taste.
• Spear squid and tiger prawn: soft, chewy, and sweet—absolutely addictive.
• Binchotan-grilled mackerel: the aroma of charcoal fills the room, with lightly melted fat and an irresistible fragrance—a perfect finale!

The chef himself was full of surprises. When we first entered, he looked so serious that we whispered in Chinese, wondering if he was in a bad mood. But then... he turned out to be fluent in Chinese, Japanese, and English, as if they were his native languages—instant embarrassment for us!

Even funnier, he mentioned he had lived in Beijing as a child and had taken the Batong Line! We got so excited and told him our school was along that line, and he immediately replied, "Communication University Station." So relatable and friendly!

The restaurant's ambiance is meticulously curated, accommodating only six guests at a time with two seatings per evening: 6:00 PM and 9:00 PM. At approximately ¥30,000 per person, it's absolutely worth it—the ingredients, atmosphere, and the chef's personality all add to the experience.
