Osaka

Although we have been to Universal Studios Japan in Osaka many times, this time was probably the most comfortable visit. Perhaps because everyone was worried about the earthquake in Japan, the crowd during this Easter was really light. Also, thanks to our Japanese friends' suggestion to go on Monday, we hardly had to queue for many attractions.
Universal Studios is a theme park in Osaka, Japan, famous for its movie and TV show-themed rides and performances. It has different zones, including The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, Super Nintendo World, Minion Park, Jurassic Park, and more. Each zone offers unique rides, food, and souvenir shops. The most popular is, of course, Super Nintendo World. I still remember last summer when our whole family bought Express Passes. The price was really expensive, but during the summer, if you don’t buy the Express Pass, you basically have no chance to enjoy the rides. However, this Easter was completely different.
Main Features:
Theme Zones:
The park is divided into several themed zones, such as The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, Super Nintendo World, Minion Park, etc.
Rides:
There are various rides in the park, including thrilling roller coasters, 4D cinemas, and themed shows, suitable for visitors of all ages.
Food and Shopping:
The park offers a variety of restaurants and shops, serving diverse cuisines and souvenirs.
(If you want to dine at the Super Nintendo World restaurants, be sure to make reservations well in advance, as they fill up quickly due to high demand.)
🌟Express Pass:
The park offers Express Passes that allow visitors to shorten waiting times and enjoy more rides efficiently.
To get to Universal Studios from Shin-Osaka Station or Kansai International Airport, you can take the JR train and transfer at Nishikujo Station to the Sakurajima Line to reach Universal City Station.
If you want to enjoy the park to the fullest, you can book hotels near Universal Studios in advance. Arriving early to queue will help you make the most of your time and enjoy all the rides. We have stayed at three of these hotels before, all very suitable for families with children.
