[Saitama Prefecture] Another Moomin Valley! Free play at Tove Jansson Akebono Children's Forest Park

#AutumnFoliageSeason

Hanno City, Saitama Prefecture, is known for its Moominvalley theme park, Moominvalley Park.

Long before that, Tove Jansson Akebono Children's Forest Park, established in 1997, is a free public urban park.

Though it's not as large as Moominvalley Park,
Nordic-style buildings and objects reminiscent of Moominvalley are scattered throughout the park, giving it an exotic feel that makes you wonder if you're really in Saitama Prefecture!

While this park offers a variety of seasonal views,
the autumn foliage is particularly spectacular.
The park is home to metasequoia trees, which turn a golden color in late November. The most beautiful season is from the peak of the season through early December.

Dog walking is also allowed, of course.
The park is just the right size for a short stroll.
You can also enjoy tea at the cafe.
The parking lot is also very spacious, so we recommend it.
