Dear friends! When traveling to Osaka, how can you miss this Michelin one-star French restaurant hidden on the 5th floor of The Ritz-Carlton Osaka — La Baie!
Stepping into the restaurant, an elegant atmosphere greets you. The head chef has an impressive background, having trained at Lucas Carton in Paris, which held three Michelin stars for 30 consecutive years, and has been leading the kitchen here since 2001 with profound skills.
The service here is exemplary in the industry! Waiter Mr. Inoue is gentle and attentive, not only speaking slowly and patiently explaining each dish but also adjusting the explanations based on your reactions. His sincere attitude feels like a breath of fresh spring air.
The seasonal lunch course is simply a magnificent symphony of flavors! Five exquisite dishes paired with two desserts, with the wagyu main course featuring a perfect balance of fat and lean meat, complemented by a smooth pumpkin sauce, creating an exquisite taste. The dessert selection is rich, with a refreshing and enticing strawberry seasonal plate, and the sweet wine crepe is flambéed on the spot, full of ceremony. After the meal, the chef’s gift of chocolate is a delightful surprise, silky in texture, with packaging patterns that hold romantic stories from the chef’s hometown.
At 22,000 yen per person, although the price is not cheap, experiencing such exquisite cuisine and service is definitely worth checking in! #OsakaFoodGuide
