Japanese Salt Bread Delight in Osaka

Last March, I visited Osaka, Japan. Being a huge fan of Japanese salt bread, I made it a point to visit three bakeries during my trip. Among them, the Truffle Bakery Osaka Main Store stood out as the place where I tasted the most delicious salt bread.

Located about a 20-30 minute walk from Umeda, Osaka's bustling downtown area, the bakery is perfect for a morning stroll if you're staying nearby. I arrived right at opening time, which meant fewer customers and the chance to enjoy freshly baked salt bread straight out of the oven.

We each bought one salt bread to start, and it was so good that we returned an hour later to buy two more per person. The bread was soft yet chewy, with a subtle truffle aroma that added a touch of luxury to the flavor. Unfortunately, I discovered this gem on the last day of my trip, so I only got to visit twice. But I’m already looking forward to revisiting it on my next Osaka trip. The staff were incredibly friendly, making for a delightful start to the day.
