【Dragon Boat Festival Holiday Quick Trip to Osaka】One day of Universal Studios fun + shopping and dining in Shinsaibashi, a three-day, two-night mini trip!

How to spend the Dragon Boat Festival holiday? This year, we’re taking a spontaneous quick trip to Osaka! Although it’s just a short three days and two nights, the itinerary is perfectly planned—everything to play, buy, and eat is covered!

Day 1: Dash to Osaka, dinner set for Shinsaibashi

Take an early flight straight to Kansai Airport, clear customs smoothly, and take the Nankai train straight to Namba. After dropping off luggage, head straight to Shinsaibashi Shopping Street for food and shopping!
For dinner, enjoy the long-awaited Ichiran Ramen, then add takoyaki, kushikatsu, and matcha ice cream—all in one round. While eating, browse drugstores, UNIQLO, GU, and Bic Camera, shopping until your hands are full!

Day 2: Universal Studios day! Harry Potter, Mario, and Demon Slayer all lined up

Devote the whole day to Universal Studios Osaka! Enter the park early and head straight to the Harry Potter area, drink butterbeer, and walk into Hogwarts—childhood dreams fulfilled!

Next, enjoy the latest super popular Super Nintendo World. The Mario Kart ride is incredibly immersive. Also lined up for the Demon Slayer XR roller coaster—screaming while watching Tanjiro, so thrilling!

Don’t miss the park’s food: Minions popcorn bucket, Harry Potter turkey leg, and a dinosaur burger (so big you can’t finish it).

Day 3: Shop until the last moment, reluctantly head home

The last day is still for Shinsaibashi—restock on drugstore items, buy gifts for friends, and finish perfectly with a bowl of ramen at Ikkousha. Carrying all the loot back to the airport, these three days were packed and fulfilling!

Tips:
• It’s recommended to buy Universal Studios tickets & express passes online in advance to save queue time.
• Stay near Namba/Shinsaibashi for convenient shopping and transportation.
• For holiday trips, remember to book flights and accommodations early!
