Strolling around Shinsekai

Shinsekai is another famous district in Osaka. This area has a somewhat classic atmosphere. It is very quiet during the daytime, but at night it becomes very lively with plenty of bars, restaurants, and drink shops all brightly lit and bustling as they call out to customers. It’s also a great place for a walk and taking photos. The grilled food stalls emit a delicious aroma.

The landmark here is Tsutenkaku Tower. At the top of the tower, there is the Glico Museum and a 360-degree observation deck offering views of Osaka city. There is also the Billiken deity statue at the top, where you can rub its feet to wish for success and good luck. Now, there is even a slide to enjoy.
