Just had an epic trip exploring two fantastic sides of Osaka - old-school Shinsekai and futuristic Izumisano 🤩🌊. Whether you want retro vibes or high-tech hotel fun, these spots seriously deliver!
Top Spots to Visit:
1. Shinsekai, Osaka 🇯🇵
Location: 2 Chome-5 Ebisuhigashi, Naniwa Ward, Osaka
Open: All day, year-round
Vibe check: This area is pure vintage cool — think flashing neon signs, the iconic Tsutenkaku tower, and alleys loaded with street food delights (hello, kushikatsu!). Definitely come hungry and snap all the retro pics. Pro tip: Visit in the evening for the best atmosphere and city views!
2. Henn na Resort&Spa Kansai Airport, Izumisano 🦖
Address: Rinkuouraikita 1-23
The stay: The rooms are super clean, modern, and spacious, with killer sea views. Families will appreciate amenities like foot massagers and tons of space. Nearby Rinku Premium Outlets make shopping easy, and the hotel’s location is perfect for quick airport access.
Highlight alert:
Unique check-in, thanks to dinosaur robots – yes, really! It’s fast and fun, but don’t expect personal service. Some guests say the system could be smoother, cleanliness could be better, and staff could step up their game. The hot springs here are insane, with relaxing pools and gorgeous sea views. Try both indoor and outdoor areas, but wish those hours were a bit longer!
Getting Around:
Use trains and metros — super affordable, frequent, and easy to navigate for both Osaka and Izumisano.
Foodie Tip:
Don’t skip Osaka street eats like takoyaki and kushikatsu in Shinsekai!
Key Info:
No visa worries for short trips from most countries. Cash is still king in local shops.
