🗓 Detailed Itinerary
⭐️Day 1: Shanghai → Osaka
Arrive at Osaka airport in the afternoon, first thing is to buy an ICOCA card! Half price for kids aged 6-12 and you can even print their name on it, super cute~Take the airport bus directly to “Hankyu Osaka Rensho Hotel,” an amazing location! Right outside is Umeda subway station, restaurants, and shopping malls~At night, rush to Ichiran Ramen, then shop for stationery at Hankyu Department Store, remember to stock up! It’ll be gone in no time once you’re back~
⭐️Day 2: Osaka
Bad weather with typhoon and rain🌧 but it doesn’t stop the food and shopping! Head to Dotonbori and Shinsaibashi for crazy shopping, then feast on seafood at Kuromon Market~The umbrella bought that day was top quality, still using it now!
⭐️Day 3: Universal Studios Japan
Must-go: Super Nintendo World! Bring home Harry Potter wands and Mario wristbands~Crowded but very orderly, kids didn’t want to leave!
⭐️Day 4: Osaka → Kyoto
Take the JR train to Kyoto, stroll through Sannenzaka and Ninenzaka, visit Kiyomizu Temple, and shop for handmade crafts at street stalls~Walked until legs were tired, then took a taxi back to the hotel, a lifesaver for lazy travelers!
⭐️Day 5: Kyoto → Tokyo
Buy Shinkansen tickets in advance (like China’s high-speed rail🚄), check in at Tokyo Ginza Mercure Hotel, surrounded by luxury brand malls! Even if your legs give out, you must rush to the Imperial Palace~
⭐️Day 6: Mount Fuji Day Trip
Mount Fuji is far and transport is inconvenient, so chose a private tour! Checked in at Mount Fuji, Kawaguchiko Ropeway, Arakurayama Sengen Park, Hakone Shrine~At night, the guide took us to Shibuya to experience the world’s busiest crosswalk, then enjoy a super BBQ feast!
⭐️Day 7: Tokyo
Warmly hosted by my Japanese cousin’s family! Envying their sea view room~Kids played wildly, adults continued shopping spree🛍
⭐️Day 8: Tokyo → Shanghai
Take the airport bus near the hotel, shop crazily at duty-free stores! Packed 24+28 inch suitcases full, happily heading home~
