48 Hours in Osaka: Castles, Kimonos & City Lights!

Still thinking about that incredible 2-day trip I took to Osaka — one of the most exciting and vibrant cities I’ve ever explored! From historic sites to neon nights, here’s how I packed so much fun into just 48 hours:

Day 1 – Tradition Meets Skyline

🎎 Kicked things off at the Osaka Museum of Housing and Living – even got to dress up in a kimono, such a fun cultural moment!
🏯 Strolled through the beautiful grounds of Osaka Castle
🌿 Took a relaxing breather in Tennoji Park
🎡 Rode the bright red Hep Five Ferris Wheel with awesome city views
🌃 Ended the day with a dreamy night ride on the Tempozan Ferris Wheel – pure Osaka magic

Day 2 – Ocean Views & Retro Vibes

🐟 Got up close with marine life at Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan – one of the best aquariums I’ve been to!
🚢 Took in the city from the water on a scenic Osaka Bay Cruise
🌆 Soared above the skyline at the futuristic Umeda Sky Building
🍢 Explored the retro charm and street food heaven of Shinsekai
📸 Took the iconic tourist pic with the glowing Glico Man in Dotonbori
🛍️ Wrapped it all up with shopping and wandering through Shinsaibashi-suji

💡 Travel tip: The Osaka Amazing Pass was super handy for covering many attractions and transport!

This trip may have been a while ago, but the memories are still crystal clear. Osaka, you were vibrant, wild, and full of heart. ✨💖
