[Osaka] A New Fusion of Eternal Time and Modernity | Shosoin Exhibition

This special exhibition allows you to not only see the treasures owned by Shosoin but also "experience" them in a completely new way.
Through vivid visuals expressing the worldview, the beauty of the Raden Zitan Five-string Biwa recreated with authentic inscriptions rather than mere replicas, the scent of the legendary incense "Ranjatai," and sensations through sight, smell, and hearing, you can feel the eternal passage of time.
By combining real artifacts with digital art, this new exhibition lets you discover the fresh charm of Shosoin.

💞Recommended because: Unlike the regularly held Shosoin exhibitions, this one incorporates digital technology alongside real artifacts, creating an immersive exhibition suited to the current era, making it enjoyable for younger generations as well.

🏖️Atmosphere/Facilities: I visited the Osaka venue, and since there were relatively many adults, it was possible to calmly view the exhibits.
