Review of traveling to Osaka, Japan —
The city of smiles, delicious food, and unforgettable happiness 💖🎌
Hello everyone~ Today Boom will share a cute and impressive story from the trip to Osaka, a city full of fun, great food, and authentic Japanese culture. For anyone looking for a travel destination in Japan, this is the answer!
⸻
Day 1: Dotonbori, the chic district full of colors and flavors 🐙🍢
As soon as we landed, we headed straight to Dotonbori.
This area is packed with restaurants and vibrant lights and sounds. The iconic signs are the “Kani Doraku Crab” and the “Giant Octopus,” which everyone must take a photo with.
We were very excited to try the “Takoyaki,” hot round balls filled with fresh octopus, topped with a special sauce that’s slightly sweet and salty.
Biting into it was pure bliss. There was also “Okonomiyaki,” a Japanese pancake with cabbage and crispy pork, so delicious we had to order another plate.
Walking here felt like stepping into a cartoon world.
The atmosphere was lively, and every shop was super cute.
⸻
Day 2: Kuromon Market — a paradise for fresh seafood lovers and Japanese snacks 🐟🍣
This morning we woke up early to visit Kuromon Market, a fresh market famous for its fresh seafood with a wide variety of stalls to choose from, so you never get bored.
The big sushi pieces were incredibly fresh and juicy, every bite was full of flavor.
There was also “Tempura Rice Balls,” with crispy fried shrimp that were truly crunchy, and freshly grilled fish balls with rich flavors that gave us a great energy boost.
We enjoyed walking and eating while admiring the colorful shops and the warm, authentic Japanese atmosphere. It felt like simple and cozy happiness.
⸻
Day 3: Universal Studios Japan — an exhilarating fun world of movies 🎢🎡
If you love amusement parks, don’t miss Universal Studios Japan! There are many rides and themed zones based on famous movies, but the most impressive was the Harry Potter zone, which made us feel like we really entered the magical world.
There were also Minion zones and others that kept us laughing and having fun all day. We played until exhausted but still wanted to keep going.
The park was filled with excitement and the laughter of both kids and adults alike.
⸻
Day 4: Osaka Castle and Sakura Garden — the beauty of history and nature 🌸🏯
Osaka Castle is one of the must-visit landmarks. The castle’s atmosphere is very majestic. Around it is a sakura garden that is stunning during spring. We enjoyed walking and taking lots of photos.
Inside the castle is a museum that tells the history of Osaka, allowing us to learn about Japanese history in a fun and interesting way.
When we visited, the cherry blossoms were in full bloom, with beautiful and romantic pink colors.
⸻
Day 5: Nakazakicho, the cat café and vintage shop district — chill like a second home ☕🐱
We loved strolling around Nakazakicho, a small district full of adorable cafés, especially cat cafés where we could sip coffee while playing with little cats. It was so delightful!
There were also vintage shops with unique items perfect for souvenirs or home decor.
It was a truly relaxing day after lots of walking and playing on rides.
