🎌🧳 Osaka travel review… the dreamy land for Japan lovers
"Going to Japan… your heart has to beat a little faster!"
Hello~ Today I’m going to share a cute and lovely Osaka trip story 💕 This trip was planned with my best friend for a long time, meant to be a relaxing getaway to escape the chaos and experience the warm atmosphere in Japan 🍂 Of course, we chose Osaka, the city of smiles, delicious food, and charm that makes people fall in love easily without realizing it 🎏
⸻
📅 Day 1: Arrived in Osaka! 🍙
After a long flight, we arrived at Kansai Airport (KIX) early in the morning. The weather was just right, about 15 degrees cool, and the sky was clear just like how we feel now ☁️ We bought Nankai train tickets straight to Namba, the hottest area in Osaka, like a mix of Siam and Chinatown, very lively 🍡
Our accommodation was a small hotel in the city center with a modern Japanese style, simply decorated but so cute that we wanted to take photos from every corner 📸 After checking in, we immediately went out to explore! The first spot to visit was… Dotonbori, the must-visit food and shopping area. The sparkling Glico sign right in front is the landmark here 🏃♂️💨
We proudly took photos with the sign, then started our food adventure! First, hot takoyaki with a crispy outside and soft inside, sprinkled with dancing dried fish flakes—so delicious 🐙 Then we moved on to okonomiyaki, or Japanese pizza, with chewy dough topped with rich sauce and mayonnaise, so fragrant! 🍳
At night, we strolled around, the lights on both sides of the street and music from street performers made us feel this trip would definitely be a warm memory ✨

🎢 Day 2: Universal Studios Japan 🎡
This morning we were excited even before getting out of bed because today was the dream day! We were going to USJ or Universal Studios Japan! 🌟 We prepared cute outfits and Minnie mouse ear headbands, ready to go!
As soon as we entered, we found ourselves in a full fantasy world with music, characters greeting us, and Japanese people dressed in theme costumes like they stepped out of an anime 🎀 We ran straight to the Butterbeer shop in the Harry Potter zone! It felt like being in the movie, with Hogsmeade village covered in fake snow, so beautiful and cozy 🍺💫
Next, we tried some thrilling rides like The Flying Dinosaur that made us scream but was so much fun! We ended the day by buying souvenirs in the Minions and Hello Kitty zones. I must say, we spent quite a few yen 😂
⸻
☕ Day 3: Cute cafes x fun shopping 🛍️
Today we woke up a bit late because we were tired yesterday, haha, but we didn’t forget to dress cute because we were going to stroll around Shinsaibashi and visit cute cafes!
We started by walking into famous Japanese fashion stores like GU, WEGO, and Uniqlo, getting several cute clothes. The prices weren’t too high, and the styles were very Japanese 👚
Then we found a trendy cafe to rest at, called Pablo mini, selling small cheese tarts with an incredibly rich taste. Eating it with hot tea was a perfect match 🍮 Then we continued to eat fresh mochi at a street stall, which was excellent—chewy, soft, and just the right sweetness 🍡
In the evening, we stopped by Dotonbori again to buy souvenirs like snacks, cartoon-themed bento boxes, and took photos with the giant crab sign 🦀 This time it was lit up and sparkling!
⸻
🦌 Day 4: Going to see deer in Nara! 🌿
Today we took a train about 45 minutes from Osaka to Nara, a cute city full of real deer! After getting off the train and walking into Nara Park, we saw deer strolling around casually like they were the real locals 🦌
We bought several deer crackers (Shika Senbei) and squealed softly when the deer came close. They were polite; some even bowed before eating! (So cute it melted my heart 🥹)
After enjoying the deer, we went to Todaiji Temple, an ancient temple with the largest Buddha statue in Japan. The atmosphere was peaceful and beautiful, perfect for authentic Japanese-style photos 🏯
⸻
🍜 Day 5: Kuromon Market & goodbye Osaka~ 👋
The last day of the trip! We went to Kuromon Ichiba Market, the most famous fresh market in Osaka, full of delicious food like fresh sashimi and butter-grilled scallops, sweet and bouncy that you have to close your eyes to enjoy 🐚
There was also rich matcha ice cream that made us love Japan even more by tenfold 🍦 After that, we bought some souvenirs to take back to Thailand, then returned to the hotel to pack… with a few tears 🥺
⸻
💖 Osaka in our memories
Osaka is a city charming both day and night, with delicious food on every street corner, cute cafes that make you want to grab your camera and shoot everywhere, trendy fashion shops, and friendly, lovely people 🥰
This trip wasn’t just a journey but a collection of small happiness that filled our hearts. Just holding hands with the person beside me and saying, “Japan is so cute,” was enough 🌸
⸻
📌 If anyone is wondering, “Is Osaka good?”
I say, it’s very, very good—like a 10-second long drawn-out sound!
And you will fall in love with this city like I did… as if under a spell 🇯🇵
