Our Sunday started with a peaceful moment, taking in the sweeping views from a high-rise HDB in Bishan. From up here, the neighborhood stretched endlessly under the warm morning sun, its rooftops and streets bathed in a golden glow. There's something calming about watching the world go by from above, a quiet reminder to slow down and enjoy the moment.

A cozy coffee break was next, and Kings Cart Coffee inside Bishan Library was the perfect stop. The inviting aroma of freshly brewed coffee filled the space, blending seamlessly with the library’s calm atmosphere. Sipping on a smooth, well-crafted brew while soaking in the quiet ambiance was exactly what we needed to recharge.

🍜 Comfort Food at Xin Mei Xiang Lor Mee – Bishan
Dinner was all about indulging in something hearty, and Xin Mei Xiang Lor Mee hit the spot. The thick, luscious gravy coated the springy yellow noodles perfectly, while the combination of fish cake, shredded fish, and crispy ngo hiang added layers of flavor and texture. A comforting bowl of this rich, savory goodness was the best way to end our laid-back Sunday.
