Today, Boom will tell you all about the food, sightseeing, and cute things she encountered during the trip. Guaranteed, after reading this, you’ll want to pack your bags and follow Boom’s footsteps!

Preparing before the trip 🛫🎒

Before traveling, Boom prepared quite well. She booked her flight tickets in advance to get the best prices. Boom chose to fly into Kansai International Airport because it’s very convenient, with a direct train to the city that takes only about 40 minutes.

Boom bought an ICOCA Card, a rechargeable card for trains, buses, and convenience store purchases. It’s super convenient, saving time from buying tickets repeatedly, and it works almost everywhere in the city.

Additionally, Boom downloaded Google Maps and HyperDia apps to check train and bus routes throughout the trip, helping her avoid getting lost and making travel planning much easier.

Day 1: Arriving in Osaka and strolling around Dotonbori ✨🌃

After landing at Kansai Airport, Boom took the JR train to Namba Station, a popular shopping and dining area in Osaka.

Exiting the station, she was greeted by colorful neon lights. The most famous is the Glico Man sign, featuring a man running across the finish line. The bright, vibrant lights made her feel excited, like being in a movie.

Walking along Dotonbori Street, the aroma of food was incredibly tempting. Boom didn’t miss trying takoyaki—round balls filled with tender squid, hot and drizzled with sweet sauce and mayonnaise. It was so delicious she had to share!

She also tried okonomiyaki, a Japanese-style pizza with pork, shrimp, fresh vegetables, and a special house sauce. It was absolutely delightful.

Day 2: Visiting Osaka Castle and cherry blossom garden 🌸🏯

Waking up to a fresh atmosphere, Boom headed to Osaka Castle, the city’s iconic landmark.

The castle’s golden roof beautifully contrasted with its white walls, creating a breathtaking sight.

She strolled around the garden filled with blooming cherry blossom trees, enjoying the wonderful atmosphere and capturing many beautiful photos.

Climbing to the top floor of the castle, she enjoyed a panoramic view of Osaka city stretching as far as the eye could see—a truly impressive scene.

Day 3: Universal Studios Japan amusement park 🎢🎠

A fun-filled day planned for enjoying rides at Universal Studios Japan (USJ).

Starting in the Harry Potter zone, it felt like stepping into a magical world. The ride Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey was extremely thrilling.

Next was the adorable and fun Minions zone, followed by Jurassic Park and Spider-Man, which are great for the whole family.

Boom enjoyed green tea ice cream and cartoon-themed snacks in the park, so cute she had to take photos to keep the memories.

Day 4: Day trip to Nara to experience nature and culture 🦌⛩️

A one-day trip to Nara, a small city not far from Osaka.

She met cute deer running along the streets. The deer are tame and approach people. Boom bought small senbei crackers to feed them. The deer were very adorable.

She visited Todai-ji Temple, home to the massive Daibutsu (Great Buddha). The atmosphere was peaceful and very sacred.

Walking around the temple garden was very enjoyable, offering a chance to connect with nature and learn about Japanese history.

Day 5: Shopping and cute cafes in Shinsaibashi 🛍️☕

Before returning, Boom went shopping in Shinsaibashi, Osaka’s trendy fashion and shopping district.

She passed many cute clothing and cosmetics stores, picking up souvenirs and adorable items to take home.

She stopped at a pastel-themed cafe to sip hot latte and enjoy fresh fruit cake, feeling absolutely delighted.
