Osaka Expo Report with Kids!! One visit isn’t enough, I want to go again!

The Expo we were looking forward to 🥳
We went with kids over the weekend, so here’s a real report!!
Since it was 4/20, this is a report right after the opening.

◌ Yumeshima Station
There is only one elevator from the platform to the ticket gate.
The restrooms are in the opposite direction from the ticket gate. There are also two nursing rooms.
There are two elevators from the ticket gate to the ground level.

◌ Until Admission
It felt crowded, but the paths are wide, so we walked smoothly and got through the baggage check in no time.
Right after the baggage check is the entrance, so don’t forget to have your tickets ready!!

◌ For pavilion info, check out my posts♡‼︎

◌ From exit to the station
We left the venue around 9:15 PM.
By then, the souvenir shops were already closed 🥹
I couldn’t buy Myaku Myaku 😭😭
There were many people, but it wasn’t slow going; my husband said it was way better than a fireworks festival! 🤣
Only those with strollers or wheelchairs were allowed through the elevator area, and they could board the train without waiting.
(There is only one elevator from the ticket gate to the platform, and it gets crowded there. We folded the stroller and took the escalator.)
Walkers were guided on a slightly longer route toward the station ticket gate!

◌ Dinner
It was super empty (lol), though I guess it depends on the place.
Maybe many people go to the food courts 🤔
The Korean, Vietnamese, and Indian curry restaurants near the East Gate were almost empty 😂
And it was around 7 PM 😳
We went to a Pakistani restaurant with naan and curry.
They even had kids’ plates and spoons‼︎‼︎
Some kids might find it spicy 😅
Our older child was fine, but the younger one found it spicy,
so they ate naan and the rice balls we brought.

It was so worth going 🥳💕
One visit isn’t enough. I want to go a few more times 😂
This time we went to experience overseas cultures,
but it made me want to visit the Japanese pavilions too♡
It was very kid-friendly. Almost no waiting.
We talked with people from overseas (everyone’s Japanese was great 🥺) and Japanese staff even shared some insider tips.
It really made me realize how important communication is‼︎

There’s lots of info out there, but you won’t know until you go 🥰
If you’re curious, I hope you’ll go check it out~ 😆💕
