【Osaka/Kansai Expo】A cafe where you can experience Swiss food culture

🇨🇭Heidi Cafe (Swiss Pavilion)
📍Osaka, Yumeshima (inside Osaka/Kansai Expo venue)

This time I ordered:
・Raclette Cheese (2800 yen)
・Raspberry and Hojicha Cake (1500 yen)
・Carrot Cheesecake (1200 yen)
・Heidi’s Berry Delight (1300 yen)
・Alpen Blossom (1300 yen)📝

🧀The raclette cheese is served by pouring hot, melted cheese over baby potatoes and onions✨
The touch of shichimi spice adds a nice accent, and cheese on potatoes is an unbeatable deliciousness💗
Since it hardens as it cools, it’s best to eat it quickly if possible🙆‍♀️
Some staff are available to reheat it☺️

🍰The raspberry and hojicha cake combines fragrant hojicha mousse with sweet and sour berries for an elegant, mature flavor💕

🥕The carrot cheesecake was also cute in appearance🙌
These sweets gave off a distinctly Swiss vibe.

🥤The drinks are also unique:
“Heidi’s Berry Delight” is a refreshing mix of cranberry, lemon, and ginger ale.

🍐“Alpen Blossom” is a slightly unusual drink made with pear, apple, cucumber, and jasmine tea.
Both are non-alcoholic💗

🏡The interior is bright and stylish with a white base.
Window seats with a great view of the large roof ring are especially popular!
Every seat has a great atmosphere and is very comfortable.
The chairs are also super cute, making you want to take photos☺️💕

🕰Cafe usage tips:
・There is a separate entrance from the pavilion (staff will tell you if you ask)
・From 9 to 11 AM, only drinks are served
・Food service starts at 11 AM
・Line formation begins just before opening (arriving early doesn’t guarantee priority)
・You can’t choose seats, but you can fully enjoy the counter seats
・You will be waiting outdoors, so heat measures and a parasol are recommended
・No reservations
・Cashless payment only

✍️I arrived just after 9 AM and waited in front of the Swiss Pavilion.
The line started forming just before 11 AM, but I was called fifth.
The line management is a bit unusual, so it’s safer to arrive early including for that reason✨

📸It’s a wonderful cafe where you can enjoy the Swiss world view, and the scenery changes depending on the time of day, so I want to visit at different times.
The night lighting should be beautiful too💗
