Travel plan entering Nagoya and departing from Osaka~!

Tomorrow's Japan trip is a 3-night, 4-day itinerary for the 24th trip to Nagoya. The return is a multi-segment journey through Kansai Airport. On day 1, staying in Toyama; day 2, Kobe Sannomiya; day 3, Kobe Harborland.

I visited Nagoya in February, so it’s been 5 months. In Nagoya, I plan to visit two restaurants and have one afternoon tea, then go to Kyoto for afternoon tea before staying the first night in Toyama. I will ride the Hokuriku Shinkansen section between Tsuruga and Kanazawa, which opened in March.

Now, I have only the Nagasaki-Isahaya section left to ride on the entire Shinkansen network. When it opened in 2022, I only rode the Takeo Onsen-Ishihaya section, and I plan to visit in August to ride the Ishihaya-Nagasaki section.

On day 2, I will have breakfast in Toyama Prefecture, take a walk in Niigata Prefecture, visit Starbucks in Nagano Prefecture, enjoy afternoon tea in Toyama & Ishikawa Prefectures, find a Pokémon manhole in Fukui Prefecture, and tour Shiga Prefecture, Kyoto Prefecture, and Osaka Prefecture by car window, then have dinner and stay overnight in Hyogo Prefecture.

I plan to cross over 9 prefectures in one day, but since the weather forecast shows a 100% chance of rain, I’m not sure how things will change. On day 3, I will add a castle enthusiast mode after a long time. I will visit a castle in Hyogo Prefecture. In the afternoon, I will meet a Twitter friend I’ve followed for 4 years.

Although it’s our first time meeting in person, and we are of different genders, it will be the first time seeing Japan together, so I’m curious how the conversation will go. My friend says not to worry because Google-sensei is there. It was amusing to hear a Japanese person say “Google-sensei.” 🤣

The rest of the schedule is free, and after parting with my friend, I will enjoy a hotel staycation on the 3rd day in Kobe. I’m not sure if the view of Kobe Port Tower from the whirlpool bathtub will look like the photos. I will rest until the next morning.

On the last day, I will visit two places for afternoon tea, then take an evening flight back home through Kansai Airport. I have reserved a total of 7 afternoon teas and will visit them together with my Japanese Twitter friend. Thank you.
