Introducing Huixian

Huixian City is a county under the jurisdiction of Xinxiang City, Henan Province. It is located in the northwest of Henan Province, east of Taihang Mountains, and on the Haihe Plain in the North China Plain. The entire area is the Haihe River Basin.

Rich in natural resources, including a wide variety of mineral resources and diverse flora and fauna, the county is a nationally renowned wheat production base. Wanxian Mountain Scenic Area

Comprising multiple scenic areas with hundreds of unique landscapes, it is a renowned film and television studio and summer retreat. The scenic area is a world of stone, with stone features visible throughout the natural landscapes and farmhouses, many of which are even built into the cliffs. The area is also a world of caves, with a fascinating variety of inverted stalactites. The core attraction is Guoliang Village, which has been a favorite of film and television directors in recent years as a renowned filming location.

Guoliang Village

Nestled on a cliff, with houses mostly built into the hillside and the simple folk living there, it's known as China's premier film and television village. The road leading to the village offers a breathtaking view of the cliff corridor, with a rock wall on one side and a cliff on the other. Guo Liang has appeared in numerous film and television productions, with over 30 films and over 40 TV series filmed here. The village has a population of around 300, but due to the numerous hotels, it has lost some of the traditional atmosphere of the surrounding villages.

Guoliang Tunnel

Guoliang Cave is a cliff-hanging road in Guoliang Village, Shayao Township, Huixian County, Xinxiang City, Henan Province. It's also known as the Guoliang Cave Cliff Road, Guoliang Tunnel, Guoliang Tunnel, Wanxian Mountain Cliff Corridor, and Guoliang Village Cliff Corridor. Completed in 1977, it was entirely handcrafted by the villagers of Guoliang Village. The thirteen villagers who primarily excavated it are known as the "Thirteen Warriors" of Guoliang Cave. Guoliang Cave is considered one of the "Ten Most Dangerous Roads in the World" and one of the "18 Most Unique Roads in the World."
