Review of the newly opened zone at Universal Japan

Donkey Kong Country, a new zone that is part of Super Nintendo World, has been transformed into a forest where Donkey Kong and his friends live. It just opened in December 2024. You have to enter this zone through Super Nintendo World first; there is no other entrance. The theme and decoration are beautifully done, making you feel like you’re really in a forest 🛤️🪾

The main ride in this zone is Mine Cart Madness, which is like a mini roller coaster that will thrill you with intersecting tracks. It was a bit scary for me, haha, but very fun. Highly recommended, don’t miss it!! We didn’t buy the Express Pass and waited in line for almost two hours. I recommend buying the Universal Express Pass if you don’t want to wait long.
