A Convenient Choice: Osaka Namba Fairfield by Marriott

📍Address: 2 Chome-3-25 Motomachi, Naniwa Ward, Osaka, 556-0016 Japan
The hotel is actually not very close to the subway stations; it takes about a 10-minute walk to both Namba Subway Station and Nankai Namba Station for the express line. However, the advantage is that it is very convenient to reach the popular Shinsaibashi shopping area. Around Namba Station, there are also abundant shopping options including Namba City.
In terms of transportation, taking the Nankai Express Line from the hotel takes about 40 minutes to Kansai Airport, and it is only a 15-minute drive to Shin-Osaka Shinkansen Station. It is also very convenient to visit nearby cities such as Kyoto and Nara. Overall, the price-performance ratio is high, with a nightly rate around 1000 RMB (reportedly even lower in the off-season), making it very suitable for Marriott members to use points for stays.

⭐️ Hotel Design:
This hotel, opened in 2020, features a simple and cozy overall design. From the exterior, the facade design is understated and tucked away among the streets of Namba, making it hard to notice directly. The facade uses black horizontal and vertical frame divisions, with subtle details reflecting a sense of order. The entrance door is hidden on the right side of the building, highlighted by light gray marble tiles. The entire glass wall on the first floor is faintly visible among bamboo greenery, blending Japanese aesthetics with modern design beautifully. Once inside, the large use of wood tones combined with modern minimalist chandeliers and wall sculptures in blue tones creates a welcoming atmosphere that feels like home.

⭐️ Hotel Facilities:
The hotel has 14 floors with 300 rooms of various types. The twin room we stayed in is about 21 square meters, which is relatively large for Japan, allowing two 30-inch large suitcases to be opened simultaneously. There is also a complimentary coffee bar available.
The bathroom follows the typical Fairfield layout with separate sink, toilet, and shower areas. A sliding door separates the bedroom and bathroom areas, optimizing space usage.
On the second floor, there is a 24-hour gym to meet basic fitness needs, equipped with elliptical machines, treadmills, and weightlifting equipment. The gym also has a coin-operated self-service laundry room.
On the first floor, there is a breakfast restaurant where you can purchase a buffet breakfast if desired. Next to the front desk, there is a self-service bar, vending machines, and a printer available for use.

⭐️ Hotel Services:
The hotel offers checkout before 12 PM, which is much more guest-friendly compared to most Japanese business hotels that require checkout before 11 AM!
The front desk has staff who speak Chinese, and the overall service attitude is quite friendly. There are many international guests staying here.
