I went in the evening.

◆ All advance reservations were a failure! No reservations!
◆ Same-day reservations won the "City of the Future" ticket only.
◆ Lined up at the West Gate at 3:15 PM. *Chairs and parasols recommended.

🎫 Adults ¥3,700, Teenagers ¥2,000, Children ¥1,000
* Single entry anytime after 5 PM.
* Entry available from 4 PM during the Twilight Campaign.

☝ The venue was so crowded that 7-Eleven had to limit entry.

☝ It was hot even at night. Be careful if you're staying from early morning until late at night in the summer.

☝ Even without entering the pavilions, I enjoyed the atmosphere by looking at the buildings and enjoying the outdoor events (Bon Odori, fireworks, drone shows, etc.). I'm glad I went.

The World Expo is a limited-time event held every five years with participation from countries around the world. If you're interested, I highly recommend checking it out.
