Osaka Kizu Market: A paradise for seafood lovers 🦞

No need to fly all the way to Hokkaido—you can find fresh, sweet, and affordable seafood donburi in Osaka! Today, we're introducing Osaka's local fish market—Kizu Market! Before, I only visited Kuromon Market, but our local guide told us that just a 20-minute walk from Kuromon Market is Kizu Market, a favorite among Osaka seafood lovers!

🛬Kizu Market
📍Address: Osaka Kizu Local Market, 2-8 Shikizu-Higashi, Naniwa-ku, Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture, 〒556-0012
🕰️Opening Hours: 5:00 AM - 12:00 PM
💰Average Cost: 1,500 yen to 10,000 yen

💞Recommendation: The seafood at Kizu Market is incredibly affordable and delicious. The rice bowl in the second picture is only 1,500 yen, and the boxed salmon fillets in the second picture, which contain about 8-9 fillets, is also only 500 yen. Each one is fresh and delicious, making it a great value. However, remember to get up early to get this rice bowl; the market is already crowded with lines as early as 6:00 AM, especially at restaurants outside the market. For restaurants, I recommend Kizu Fish Restaurant. In addition to seafood, there are also fruit and vegetable stalls, and the peaches are large and affordable. Unlike the touristy (and money-grabbing) Kuromon Market, the vendors here are friendly and approachable. Highly recommended for seafood lovers!
