🇪🇸 A story of Spain and Japan connected by the sea and the sun 🌊☀️ The theme of the Spain Pavilion, which will be located on Yumeshima from April to October 13, 2025, is "Japan and Spain Connected by the Kuroshio Current." The architecture itself is an art space that expresses the sea and the sun. Inside, deep-sea-like exhibits offer an immersive look at the blue economy, marine life, and historical exchanges between Japan and Spain. The building is sustainable and designed for reuse, and plans for its relocation and reuse after demolition are currently under consideration.

The Spain Pavilion also won the Silver Award in the Architecture and Landscape category in the BIE (Bureau International des Expositions) competition for sites over 1,500m!
It's a wonderful and prestigious award!
